A VPN virtual network operates on the principle of establishing a fixed connection. Communication can be established directly, between two nodes of the same level (on the principle of "network-network" or "client-client"), or (more commonly) — between the network and the client. One of the elements (the server that initiates the connection) must have a static (permanent) IP address, which will be used by other network nodes to find it. An access point is created on the server as a gateway with Internet access. It is joined by other network participants and connected as an isolated tunnel. |
